It is made up of a diverse range of landscapes, including mountains, wetlands, and rural villages. It stretches from Tuen Mun and Yuen Long in the west, Tai Po and Sheung Shui to the north, Tseung Kwan O and Sai Kung to the east, and Sha Tin and Tai Wai in the south.
